We’re recruiting for a variety of Support Worker roles in our Personal Support Services team to help our residents live independently and well in their own homes for as long as possible and would love to hear from you.
We are not currently licenced to sponsor employees for visas, therefore are unable to offer sponsorship for this role.

About the role:
You will care for residents according to their personal care needs, while supporting their independence, where possible. The duties are varied, so no two days will be the same.
You can choose to care for residents who live around the city, or you might prefer to be based at one of our independent living communities and work with their residents.
These communities include Auden House in Fishergate, Marjorie Waite Court in Clifton, and Glen Lodge in Heworth.

As this role is public facing, applicants will need to demonstrate, at interview, their competency to converse and provide advice and guidance to members of the public, in spoken English to CEFR level C2: Mastery or proficiency - Can express him/herself spontaneously at length with a natural conversational flow, avoiding or backtracking around any difficulty so smoothly that the person with whom they are conversing is hardly aware of it. Can understand with ease virtually everything heard or read.
