The City of York Council are looking for a dynamic IT Infrastructure SecurityApprentice to join a highly skilled technical infrastructure team that iscommitted to providing a first class ICT service to the customers and staff ofthe City of York Council.
It is an exciting time to work in IT / Cyber Security. The industry is challengingand ever changing, in this apprenticeship you will learn something new everyday.
You will work within the ICT Security Team and with other ICTteams to help identify and deliver secure technology solutions, application andtechnical architectures. You will help in creating design principles leading tothe identification and procurement of appropriate technologies, be they fixed,mobile or cloud.
The apprenticeship requires a commitment to study, which will include time awayfrom the office. You will be expected to balance work responsibilities andacademic studies, but we will support you along the way.
By completing the Cyber Security Technologist Level 4 apprenticeship, you will earn the following qualifications:
* BCS Level 4 Certificate in Cyber Security Introduction
* BCS Level 4 Certificate in Cyber Security Case
* Development Design Good Practice
* BCS Level 4 Certificate in Network and Digital
* Communications Theory
* BCS Level 4 Certificate in Cyber Security Technology Building Blocks
* BCS Level 4 Certificate in Employment of Cryptography
The successful candidate will study for a Cyber Security Technologist Level 4 apprenticeship
Due to the eligibility criteria for this apprenticeship, we can only acceptapplications from those who do not already hold qualifications at the same orhigher level, in this area of work.
To beeligible for this apprenticeship you must have been resident in the UK or anEEA country for at least three years, and hold the right to work.
