An exciting opportunity has arisen to provide administrative support to the Chair of the City of York Safeguarding Adults Board (SAB) for which you will need excellent administrative and organisational skills. You will work closely with the SAB Chair to ensure the smooth functioning of the Board and will work collaboratively with a range of internal and external partners. This is a unique position that allows the post holder to work in a diverse and wide ranging role
You will act as administrator to the Board and associated sub-groups as required and tasks will include;
You will need a good level of safeguarding adults awareness and an understanding of the multi agency environment in which the Board Chair works.

Hybrid working arrangements are available for this role. Each role at CYC is different and your working arrangements will be determined based on the requirements of the role and in collaboration with you and your needs as part of the recruitment process. Your contractual location will be the designated council office for your team.
The duties of this post require the postholder to undertake a basic Criminal Record check (unspent convictions only) via the Disclosure and Barring Service.
